Its main offer is the Premium package, an all-inclusive rental with no excess to pay if the car is damaged and free cancellation, so the price you see is meant to be the price you pay. Book through Coin7 and you earn cashback, as long as you keep the rental.

Where Centauro operates

According to the company’s own site, it rents cars in Spain including the Balearic Islands, in Portugal including Madeira, in Italy including Sardinia and Sicily, and in Greece, both on the mainland and on the islands. It lists more than 60 offices, among them airports, train stations and city centres. That mix matters, because picking up at the airport and picking up in town are different experiences, and the booking page shows what is available for your dates.

If you are planning a holiday on an island, a car is often the only practical way to reach the quiet beaches and villages. A rental that is simple and predictable then makes more difference than a few euros saved.

What the Premium package is about

Centauro presents its Premium package as the all-inclusive choice. On the homepage it names full coverage with no excess, an additional driver, 24-hour roadside assistance, unlimited mileage and a quick digital check-in. The idea is that nothing is added at the desk and you do not hand over a large deposit hold for damage.

A word of caution is still useful. Read the terms that belong to your booking, and look at what full coverage includes and what it does not. Tyres, glass, the underside of the car or lost keys are often treated separately by rental companies, and the exact rules are in the conditions, not in the headline. Knowing that before you collect the keys saves arguments later.

Planning the pick-up

A few practical points help the day of collection go smoothly:

Choose the fuel policy that suits you. The site says you can pick the one that fits your needs, so look at the options when you book.

Check the driver rules. The company mentions rentals for young drivers from the age of 19 and for seniors of 75 and over, so tell the booking form the real age of the driver.

Use the digital check-in if it is offered. The Centauro ID is meant to prepare the contract online so that pick-up is faster.

Bring the documents you need: a valid licence and the payment card used for the booking.

Take photos of the car before you drive off, whatever the insurance says.

Changing or cancelling

The company states that a reservation can be modified or cancelled without costs or penalties up to 48 hours before pick-up. That is a generous window for a holiday plan that may still move. Keep in mind that the cashback follows the rental you keep: a cancelled booking is deducted, and no cashback is paid on it.

A note on island driving, because it surprises first-timers. Roads on Sicily, Sardinia, Madeira or the Greek islands can be narrow and steep, and parking in old towns is tight. A smaller car is usually easier, and you will be glad of it when a village street turns out to be barely wider than the mirrors. Book the size you can park comfortably, not just the one that looks cheapest.

How to get cashback at Centauro

Open Coin7, go to the shop page Centauro Rent a Car, click the button that takes you to the shop and book your car as usual. The current rate is shown at the top of our shop page, so we do not repeat it here, and we do not promise any voucher codes. Cashback applies to bookings made through our link and is usually confirmed 30 to 90 days after your purchase, once the shop has validated the booking. Avoid voucher codes from other sources when you book, as they can interfere with the tracking.

Frequently asked questions

<details>

In which countries can I rent a car at Centauro?

According to the company, it operates in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece. Check the booking page for the exact pick-up locations and dates available.

</details>
<details>

What happens to my cashback if I cancel the booking?

Cancelled bookings are deducted or not credited, so cashback only counts for rentals you actually keep. Free cancellation is offered by the shop, but no cashback is paid on a cancelled rental.

</details>
<details>

When is my cashback confirmed?

Confirmation usually comes 30 to 90 days after your purchase, once the shop has validated the booking. Avoid voucher codes from other sources when booking, as they can interfere with the tracking.

</details>
<details>

Can young or senior drivers rent a car?

The company mentions special rentals for drivers from 19 and for drivers of 75 and over.
