12-Travel is a Swiss travel provider where you book package holidays, flights and hotel stays. If you want cashback, start at Coin7, click through to 12-Travel and book in the same visit. The cashback is confirmed once the provider has confirmed your booking, which for trips often means after you have travelled.

Who 12-Travel is for

The site is aimed at travellers in Switzerland. That shows in the way it is set up: the offers are presented for people who plan their holidays from there, and the content is built around that market. If you live in Switzerland and want to book a holiday without putting every part together yourself, this is the kind of provider you would look at. If you live elsewhere, check the conditions carefully, since a site for one market can have rules that do not fit another.

It also suits two kinds of people quite well. One group wants a finished package, where flight and hotel come together. The other likes to assemble things step by step, for example a flight first and the accommodation later.

Package, flight or hotel only?

With a package holiday, you buy several services as one booking. The advantage is simplicity: one price, one confirmation, one contact if something changes. The trade-off is that you accept the combination as it is offered. If you want to fly on a certain day or stay somewhere very specific, a package can feel tight.

If you book a flight and a hotel separately, you get more freedom but also more to keep track of. Two bookings means two sets of conditions, two cancellation terms and two confirmations. For a short trip with a fixed date, separate bookings are fine. For a longer trip where one change would affect everything else, a package can be calmer.

What to check before you pay

I always go through a short list before I enter payment details:
