The Honey Wine Company Cashback: a guide to mead
The Honey Wine Company, which trades as Bee d’Vine, makes mead: a wine brewed from honey instead of grapes. If you start your order at Coin7 before you buy, you can earn cashback on it, provided you finish the purchase in the same session.
What mead is and what the shop sells
Mead is one of the oldest alcoholic drinks there is, and it is simply honey fermented with water. Bee d’Vine says it uses only raw honey and spring water, without grains, fruit or additives, and it describes its wines as gluten-free and vegan-friendly. The range comes in still and sparkling versions, and the styles run from dry (brut) through to sweeter, semi-sweet ones (demi sec). The shop lists several varieties, so there is more than one bottle to try.
If you have only ever seen mead in a fantasy novel, the real thing may surprise you. It tastes closer to a wine than to a sweet liqueur, and the dry versions in particular are meant to be served like a sparkling wine.
Who it is a good fit for
This is a shop for people who like to try something different. It suits a gift for someone who already enjoys wine, a tasting evening with friends, or a bottle for a celebration where you would like a talking point. It is less of an everyday house wine, and the shop does not present it that way.
If you are new to mead, start with one style rather than a large case. A dry sparkling bottle and a semi-sweet still one tell you quickly which direction you prefer, and you can order more once you know.
Shipping and age checks
Because this is alcohol, a few things work differently from an ordinary online order:
- Age verification is part of buying alcoholic drinks, and the site asks for it during the purchase.
- Rules for shipping alcohol depend on where you live. Before you fill your basket, check on the shop’s own site whether it delivers to your state or country.
- Someone of legal age needs to be able to receive the parcel. Think about delivery timing if you are not usually at home.
- If you are buying a gift, remember that the recipient also has to be allowed to receive it where they live.
On dispatch, the shop says that orders placed by 2 pm Pacific time ship the same day, and later ones go out the next day. You get a tracking number by email, ice packs are included, and the shop says its bottles are tested for heat stability during summer shipping. Those are the shop’s own statements, so check the current conditions on its site before you order, especially in hot weather.
Cashback for different products
The cashback rate can differ depending on what you buy. The shop’s sparkling range, for example, can be treated differently from other products. That is why we give no figure here. The current rates are listed on our store page, and it is worth a look there before you choose your bottles.
How to get cashback at The Honey Wine Company
Open Coin7 first and go to the store page The Honey Wine Company on Coin7. Use the button there to reach the shop, add your bottles to the basket and check out as usual. Stay in the same browser session until the order is complete, and do not open the shop from a bookmark or a search result in between, because that can break the tracking. If a voucher code is shown on our page, use only that one, since codes from other websites can cancel the cashback.
Coin7 adds the cashback to your account after the shop has confirmed the order, which happens once the return period has passed. If you return or cancel part of your order, that part earns no cashback. Keep your confirmation email until the amount shows as confirmed.
Frequently asked questions
Does The Honey Wine Company ship alcohol to my state or country?
Shipping alcohol is restricted in many places and depends on age verification, so check the shop’s own site to see where it currently delivers.
When is my cashback confirmed?
Cashback is confirmed once the return period has ended, which usually takes some weeks. If you return or cancel part of your order, that part is deducted.
What kinds of mead are there?
The shop offers still and sparkling honey wines, from dry (brut) to semi-sweet (demi sec). The product pages describe each bottle.
Is the cashback rate the same for every bottle?
Not necessarily. Different products can be treated differently. The current rates are shown on our store page.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
Because alcohol is involved, someone of legal age usually has to receive the parcel. Check the delivery conditions on the shop’s site.
