APH airport parking cashback: how to book and save
0
APH is a UK site for booking airport parking, hotel and parking packages and lounge access before you fly. If you start the booking on Coin7 and then pay on the APH site, part of the commission comes back to you as cashback once the booking is confirmed. The current rate is shown on our shop page.
What APH actually sells
The name stands for Airport Parking and Hotels, and that is a fair summary. The core of it is car parking at British airports. The programme we work with lists Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh, so those are the airports it is built around. Next to plain parking you find hotel stays that come with parking, and executive lounge access. The programme also covers parking at third-party car parks, so you may see more than one operator behind the listings.
The idea is simple. You decide weeks ahead where your car will wait while you are away, and you pay for it before you leave home, usually for less than the gate price would be. Nobody likes working out a parking bill at a ticket barrier at five in the morning, and booking in advance takes that moment away.
Who it suits
It suits anyone driving to a UK airport for a trip of more than a day: a family heading to Spain from Manchester, a couple flying out of Edinburgh for a long weekend, a business traveller who leaves the car at Heathrow for a week. If you are dropped off by a friend or take the train, you do not need it. For very short trips the saving may be small, because parking is usually charged per day and the difference to the drive-up price grows with the length of the stay.
The hotel and parking packages are for early flights. Anyone flying at six does not want to leave home at three in the morning. A room near the airport the evening before, with the car left there for the trip, takes the stress out of the morning.
What to check before you pay
Parking products differ more than the headline price suggests. Read these points on the booking page before you confirm:
- How you get from the car park to the terminal, and how long it takes. Some lots are on site, others use a shuttle bus.
- Whether the offer is park-and-ride, meet-and-greet or a car park you walk from.
- The exact dates and times of drop-off and collection, and what happens if your flight is delayed.
- The cancellation and amendment terms, which matter most if your plans are not fixed.
- Any limits on vehicle size, if you drive a van or a large SUV.
Do this for the third-party car parks in particular, since their rules can differ from one listing to the next. Treat these as questions to answer on the APH site itself before you book.
Booking in practice
Pick the airport, enter your dates and compare what comes up. Cheapest is not always best: a car park that adds twenty minutes each way costs you time at both ends of the trip, and after a night flight that counts. Keep the confirmation email and any voucher or reference number on your phone. Look at the terms for the return day, because arriving late at night is when you want the process to be as plain as possible.
Lounges are a separate product. Executive lounge access is booked for a given airport and terminal, so check that the lounge matches the terminal your airline uses.
How to get cashback at APH
Open Coin7 and go to the APH page. Use the button there to get to the APH site, and book as you normally would, in the same browser session. Do not open other price comparison or voucher tabs in between, they can replace the tracking. The cashback is confirmed after the trip or once the cancellation period has passed, not on the day you book. If you use a voucher code, take it only from our page.
Frequently asked questions
Does the cashback cover parking only, or hotels and lounges too?
The programme has separate rates for parking at the main airports, hotel and parking packages and executive lounges. The current rates are listed on our shop page.
Which airports can I book?
The programme is set up around Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh. See the APH site for the full list.
When does the cashback arrive?
After APH confirms the booking, which for parking usually means after your trip or once the cancellation period is over.
What happens if I cancel?
A cancelled or refunded booking does not earn cashback. Check the cancellation terms on the APH site before you pay.
